The Manifesto
Democratising healthy longevity.
Italian Longevity League Foundation has a clear mission: to democratise healthy longevity by making the best scientific knowledge, technologies, protocols and multidisciplinary expertise accessible to as many people as possible.
Longevity cannot become an isolated discipline or one reserved for a few. It is not a new medical specialty separate from the others. It is a new, integrated vision of medicine, prevention, wellbeing and quality of life.
The Foundation therefore proposes a broad cultural, scientific and operational federation of medical societies, healthcare professionals, universities, research centres, associations and multidisciplinary organisations sharing responsibility for the future of human health.
We believe that
- prevention should begin before disease;
- biological age can be influenced through behaviour, education, monitoring and evidence-based medicine;
- every medical discipline has an essential role in maintaining health and function;
- patients should be supported throughout life, not only when managing disease;
- biological, digital and clinical data should be used ethically, scientifically and in a personalised way;
- continuing education for healthcare professionals is essential to address global epidemiological and demographic change;
- the Italian lifestyle, rooted in food, social relationships, movement, culture and beauty, is a distinctive heritage to be explored scientifically in the field of longevity.
Our vision
Italy’s first healthy longevity ecosystem.
We aim to build Italy’s first healthy longevity ecosystem, integrating:
- specialist medicine;
- community-based medicine;
- scientific research;
- academic education;
- digital technologies;
- artificial intelligence;
- biometric monitoring;
- nutrition;
- physical activity;
- regenerative medicine;
- mental health;
- wellness and hospitality;
- public education.
Federation
A new alliance of medicine, research and prevention
Federation of Scientific Societies for Healthy Longevity.
Italian Longevity League Foundation promotes the creation of a multidisciplinary Federation bringing together scientific societies, healthcare professionals, universities, research institutes and organisations that share a modern vision of health and longevity.
Federation membership is free for societies and involves no membership fees.
Population ageing, the rise in chronic disease and rapid growth in biomedical technologies are profoundly changing the role of medicine.
Treating disease is no longer enough. We need to act earlier, preserve function for longer and develop integrated pathways that improve years lived in good health.
This is why longevity cannot belong to a single specialty.
Why a federation
Overcoming fragmented expertise.
Fragmented expertise is one of the main barriers to developing effective models of advanced prevention.
The Federation is intended to:
- foster collaboration across disciplines;
- support research and shared protocols;
- develop interdisciplinary education;
- develop evidence-based guidelines;
- validate innovative tools and technologies;
- promote health education for the public and professionals;
- develop local and digital health monitoring programmes.
A shared platform
Strengthening existing societies.
The Federation does not seek to replace existing scientific societies. It seeks to strengthen them.
Each society retains its:
- autonomy;
- identity;
- governance;
- specialisation;
- scientific role.
The Federation provides a shared space for cooperation to address the challenge of healthy longevity together.

Evidence Based Longevity
Every protocol, technology or intervention must be scientifically validated.
A multidisciplinary approach
Longevity grows through the integration of expertise.
Continuing education
Academy programmes, courses, summits and educational initiatives for professionals and the public.
Responsible innovation
Ethical use of AI, wearables, genomics, epigenetics and predictive systems.
Physicians and healthcare professionals at the centre
Technology supports professionals; it does not replace them.
Building an ecosystem
Clinical centres, universities, scientific societies, businesses and foundations must collaborate through a structured network.
What we propose
Build together.
Participating societies will be able to contribute to:
- interdisciplinary congresses and summits;
- permanent scientific working groups;
- educational and Academy programmes;
- research groups and publications;
- development of shared protocols;
- epidemiological observatories and registries;
- validation of digital tools and algorithms;
- local and institutional projects;
- public education and prevention initiatives.
Our invitation
Unite for a new culture of health.
We invite scientific societies, professional bodies, universities, clinical centres, associations and healthcare professionals to join forces with Italian Longevity League Foundation to build a new culture of health together.
A culture that can:
- increase years lived in good health;
- reduce the burden of chronic disease;
- improve quality of life;
- support healthcare systems;
- create scientific and social innovation;
- restore value to human time.
