General partnership policy.

The rules protecting the Foundation’s scientific independence, reputation and mission in every collaboration.

Version 1.0 · 22 September 2026

Clear collaborations, separate responsibilities.

The policy applies to scientific, educational, technological, institutional and local partnerships. It supplements the Statutes, regulations, resolutions and individual contracts; in the event of conflict, the law, the Statutes and the approved agreement take precedence.

01

Scope and distinction between relationships

A partnership develops joint scientific, educational, technological, institutional or local activities. Sponsorship finances activities in exchange for defined promotional services. A donation is a voluntary gift without anything in return. Each relationship follows a separate process and contract.

02

Eligibility criteria

The Foundation assesses the applicant’s identity, reputation, lawfulness and consistency; the proposal’s quality and usefulness; organisational and economic feasibility; scientific, ethical and reputational risks; conflicts of interest and compatibility with the Statutes and mission.

03

Assessment and authorisation

An expression of interest does not bind the Foundation. Collaboration begins only after review, any due diligence, a resolution by the competent body and signature of a written agreement defining activities, timing, payments, expected results, communications and responsibilities.

04

Scientific independence

A partner acquires no rights over governance, appointment of experts, selection of speakers, methods, results or conclusions. The Foundation retains independent judgement and may reject content, claims or initiatives inconsistent with the evidence, statutory aims or ethical rules.

05

Conflicts of interest

Applicants, directors, advisers and experts declare relevant financial, professional or personal interests and update them during the project. Anyone with a conflict does not participate in assessment or decision-making, in accordance with the Statutes, regulations and applicable law.

06

Brand and communications

The Foundation’s name, logo and designations may be used only with prior written authorisation for specified purposes, channels and duration. Authorisation may be revoked. Terms such as “certified”, “approved” or “validated by the Foundation” are prohibited unless provided for by a specific, formally adopted protocol.

07

Data and confidentiality

Each project applies data minimisation, purpose limitation, security and a correct allocation of data protection roles. The Foundation does not receive identifiable health data unless there is a documented need, an adequate legal basis, protective measures and a specific agreement.

08

Financial terms

Contributions and payments must be appropriate, traceable and linked to documented activities. The Foundation receives no commission on a partner’s sales. Tax treatment is not guaranteed by the Foundation and is checked by the parties with their own advisers.

09

Responsibilities and limitations

Collaboration does not transfer a partner’s clinical, technical, production, construction or commercial responsibilities to the Foundation. Scientific opinions and activities do not replace statutory certification, authorisations, testing, individual medical assessments or the obligations of manufacturers and professionals.

10

Monitoring, suspension and closure

The Foundation checks activities, communications and brand use. It may request corrections, suspend collaboration or terminate the agreement following violations, false information, undisclosed conflicts, reputational damage or incompatibility with the mission.

Closing principle

No financial contribution can buy scientific authority.

Every recognition, assessment or result must arise from actual, documented and independent work.
