Become a Foundation participant
Applicants must be Foundation participants who comply with the statutory obligations. Each new participant also pays the annual fee for their category: €150 for professionals and €500 for organisations.

Open an ILL regional branch.
The official process for proposing, establishing and managing a local branch of Italian Longevity League Foundation.
Current regulations
A branch of the Foundation, rather than a separate entity.
Regional branches are established by the national Board of Directors under the Statutes. Each has a President appointed by the Board and may have a Regional Board of Directors.
The operational reference is Internal Regulations No. 1/2025, which replace all previous provisions.
The process
Six steps.
Form the proposing group
An application may be submitted by one to seven applicants. It must name the Branch President, who is required, and may include a Regional Board with up to six additional members.
Prepare the application
The application must include a local dossier, a three-year activity programme, a financial and economic plan, and the names of the President and any Regional Board members.
Obtain the Board’s resolution
The national Board of Directors assesses and resolves to establish the branch. Strategic initiatives or commitments of €10,000 or more require the binding opinion of the Steering Council.
Pay the fees
After the resolution, the branch’s one-off founding contribution of at least €800 in total and the annual fee for each new participant are paid. Founding participants remain exempt under the Regulations.
Launch activities and report
The branch operates under national coordination, delivers the minimum required activities and submits a six-monthly report, a forecast budget by 30 November and final accounts by 31 March.
Activities and responsibilities
The branch’s minimum commitments.
- One annual technical and scientific meeting: a conference, workshop or Longevity Day.
- One annual community event: public education, local research or fundraising.
- At least two delegates attend any National Congress that is held.
- Evidence-based content and activities consistent with the Foundation’s guidelines.
- All income passes through the Foundation’s single account: 20% towards general costs and 80% to the regional cost centre for properly reported activities.
- The branch has no legal or financial independence from the Foundation.

Submit the contact person’s essential details and the proposed region. The Secretariat will provide instructions for the complete dossier.
Application
Propose a local branch.
The Foundation will assess the request. Submitting it does not authorise use of the ILL name or brand.
Regional branch fees
Two payments, both required.
Opening a branch requires a founding contribution of €800. Each new participant must also pay the annual fee for their category.

The Secretariat sends the one-off payment link directly after the branch has been approved. No payment is due when applying.
2. Participant fees
€150 per year for each professional; €500 per year for each participating organisation.
